Video Counseling for Boston Children’s Hospital

Boston Children’s Hospital's suite of benefits includes six (6) free, virtual (video) counseling for all employees. Participants may schedule confidential, virtual (video) sessions with a licensed clinician to address common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, preventing burnout, building resilience, relationship issues and alcohol or substance use concerns.

To schedule an appointment, visit the calendar above, click on the desired date/time and book your appointment. All sessions are 30 minutes. To schedule a 50-minute session, please book two appointments in a row.

Meet Your Counselor

Lakisha Austin is an LICSW with several years of experience providing individual counseling for a wide range of concerns. She works with professional men and women to help them cope with the demands of daily living, parenting, work-life balance and interpersonal and family relationships. She employs a variety of treatment modalities, using a combination of solution-focused, narrative therapy and motivational interviewing techniques. She believes we all have the tools and the ability to reach our full potential, but life gets in the way from time to time.

Specialties include: Anxiety, depression, life transitions, anger management, trauma, job stress, women’s issues and family stress.
